This hotel is still inside the airport but it is unable to walk by yourself, the option can be: taxi and free shuttle bus (no. 8) from T3. What's impressed me is their hospitality, it was 1 am and i having a problem to pay the goverment tax (10 dirham) i was skip this information and prepare no cash while turns out my debit card has a problem. I was forgot this Staff name but he is the tall one, bald, and have a gappy teeth that helped me a lot. My family and I stayed at Holiday Inn Express Dubai Airport for 4 nights in June, and we had a wonderful experience.
As someone familiar with Holiday Inn Express hotels in the USA, I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast selection here. It was much more extensive than the typical U.S. offering. Every morning there was a great variety of fresh items including salads with feta cheese, labneh, yogurt, fresh vegetables, fluffy scrambled eggs, omelets, boiled eggs, breads, muffins, juices, and excellent freshly brewed coffee with hot milk. There were also Indian options such as samosas, curry dishes, and spring rolls, which was a nice touch given the large number of Indian travelers visiting Dubai.
Another highlight was the Great Room breakfast area. The interiors were modern, bright, and welcoming, with comfortable seating and large windows offering pleasant views toward the airport. It was a wonderful place to start the day. My family enjoyed it so much that we often spent one to two hours there every morning relaxing over breakfast.
We had accidentally booked a smoking room, but the hotel staff changed it to a non-smoking room immediately without any hassle. Their customer service was outstanding throughout our stay.
The real highlight of this hotel is the staff. Mahendesh and Abdul went above and beyond to help us and made us feel genuinely welcome. Every staff member we interacted with was attentive, professional, and eager to assist.
Housekeeping and room service were excellent as well. Whenever we needed something, a quick phone call was all it took, and it would be delivered promptly.

Amongst the Holiday Inns that we have tried this was the most impressive by far. Good location near metro, complementary shuttle to airport even though it’s near. Clean, good food with a lot of variety to choose from. And most of all the super friendly and accommodating staff from the driver Ali to the concierge who made our check-in and out smooth as possible (Manan, Akshay, Karim and Kier). They delivered an excellent service. Definitely highly recommended.

Breakfast is superb, with plenty of options including hot dishes. If you’re short on time, they even provide a full takeaway breakfast box.
The only thing is that you have to pay a 3 euros tax at arrival which was not mentioned upfront.

It was convenient as the hotel has everything you need from shuttle busses to the mall, a gym, and a decent breakfast. Housekeeping are so polite and helpful. During my current stay, I unfortunately had a medical issue and the hotel staff were there to assist me, by getting in contact with the paramedics and getting them here quickly to stabilize my condition. It is always good to know at this hotel it is not about your money, but they care about your safety and well being. And also a big thank you to Zu Zu for always making sure I had everything I needed for breakfast.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the facilities were well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. Mustafa houswkeeping staff Mustafa giving service was excellent, and the were always helpful and professional. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I truly enjoyed my experience.

If you want excellent service and good, clean, comfortable facilities for a good price; this is the place! It's an excellent bang-for-the buck hotel. The experience here at Holiday inn Express was fantastic with the room service, the morning free breakfast buffet and etc. I highly reccomend this hotel because, it's like only 5 min away from Dubai international airport, and there is a supermarket next to it and a laundry and many other shops.

Stay at this hotel. It is so close and convenient to the airport. Their free breakfast buffet is one of the best-appointed I've ever seen. No what a lovely departure from the usual to see hummus and olives and dates and fresh vegetables included as well as espresso coffee machines galore! Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn. The public area and gym was always crowded ( because the athletes and teams of world boxing event were staying in the hotel). That was a bit of inconvenience but I understand that it was an exceptional thing as our dates of stay clashed with those of boxing event. Otherwise, staff was great. Breakfast was wonderful with a lots of options. Zu Zu and her sister plus all the other restaurant team were a great host. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here because of its location to the airport. Some taxi drivers told us to walk because it is close, but I don’t really think it is possible. The breakfast is good, staff such as Mahantesh were helpful and prompt. The room was a little on the small side but worked great for us. I appreciated my son, 15, to be counted as our child and not an adult. Nice place to stay.

2. The room has NO supplies, Shower Gel Empty, Lotion Empty. Thankfully I had my own.
3. No Iron or Ironing board. You have request daily (takes more than 30 minutes to delivery one). I complainted to the manger - disregarded.
4. The staff don't clean your room properly - Example - COFFEE MUGS ONLY GET RINSE - they had coffee stains in them.
5. I left my room at 10.00 am, returned at 12.30. Room wasn't cleaned. I went sleep. At around 1.00 PM, the room attendant came, asked If I wanted service - I said yes and left the room. 3.00 PM, I returned. Room still wasn't cleaned. Went down, spoke to the manager who offered me lunch as a compensation.

Place is very near to the airport with reasonable prices. Emirates metro is in walking distance. There’s a supermarket nearby. Breakfast buffet was good but with few to none meat options. Overall experience was really good. If you are using public transportation, this is a perfect place. Since airport is in 10 minutes drive, there’s plenty of time for last minute baggage hassles
It's a good option for staying near the airport; I've done it several times to catch a flight early in the morning. It's a bit surprising that it's impossible to walk from the hotel to the airport, despite being very close. However, there is a free shuttle bus that runs every half hour (it might be difficult to figure out where the stop is near the airport, but the airport staff will tell you).

My worst Holiday Inn Express experience… ever!
- Rooms are in extremely poor condition – see my photos. The hotel is renovating rooms (Oct 2025), but slowly, so expect a bad room and possible disruption during your stay.. I was woken by workmen outside my room in the early morning.
- Zero/poor recognition for top-tier Platinum/Diamond IHG members. I was not given a renovated room, or indeed even a good room, or a higher floor. In fact, I had to move THREE times so finally find a room which was acceptable and even it was in poor condition!!!
- Prior to check-in, for some bizarre reason, this hotel may charge your payment card a higher amount that the cost of your booking. When checking-in, the refund and re-charge process is unnecessary. When queried, the reception team couldn’t explain why they had charged a higher amount than my room rate.
- Water temperature fluctuates, so don’t expect a hot shower. Extremely uncomfortable.
- The hotel’s online information regarding the airport shuttle is inaccurate and not comprehensive. It should be every thirty minutes, but often runs late. There is a timetable, but the hotel doesn’t provide this information online. Also, there is not a complimentary shuttle to Emirates Metro as stated online, this is completely false. Other airport hotels have more frequent shuttles. It took me over an hour to get from the airport to the hotel. I could easily have travelled into central Dubai in this time, so why stay in an airport hotel?!
- I wrote a complaint to the hotel manager, Ahmed Abdel Nabi, who finds the time to respond to each Google review, but he never replied, even after two emails. I eventually received a reply from a guest service supervisor. This tells you all you need to know about how badly the hotel is managed.

The property is very near to the airport and was easy to find thru google maps. The front desk staff KIER was very polite and accommodating. He made sure he would always smile and acknowledge questions and request with precise answers. He also provided information about the property. The room was spacious enough, clean and well maintained. However, it would be nice to keep slippers in the room.
I had a wonderful stay here! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Special mention to Mr. Karimulla from housekeeping and Ms. Honey from the restaurant, who both went above and beyond. I also loved the seating area outside the hotel entrance - it's the perfect spot to unwind after a long day. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning!

Happy with my stay despite a little less than personal expectations but overall it’s a great stay from check in till check out. I was greeted nicely by the receptionist who made it easy & friendly. My favourite was the extended check out time they offered & I love it especially when we came back from the desert safari at 12pm. The room is comfortable just enough to stay for a night. Bear in mind toothpaste & toothbrush is not provided. I brought mine so not an issue. Breakfast is satisfactory, with several options available. I also came for the free shuttle service to & fro the airport which is very convenient to go to the city though a bit far & crammed up in the metro. I wouldn’t come again to stay due to the distance cuz for me it’s quite far of a journey. Took 30min or so to get to Burj Khalifa. The shuttle service is available for every 30 mins 24/7. But the hotel itself is great to stay especially for a quick transit. Credit to Kabita for customer service. Overall it was pleasant. Nothing bad for my experience.

I chose Holiday Inn this time (I'm a loyal customer of the neighbouring Premier Inn). Long check-in queue (I've never seen that at Premier Inn in 10 years of travelling), narrow corridors, and no pool. The room, toilet, and bed were well cleaned, but without carpet (less cozier after a 12-hour flight), although the shower is powerful and the water is steaming hot. The toiletries were excellent quality (shampoo, shower gel, face balm). I could easily hear my neighbour using the toilet, so if you're a light sleeper, this hotel isn't for you. The bed was comfortable, but I could see the mattress springs through the sheets, which was strange. In short, I won't be booking Holiday Inn again. Premier Inn has everything I need to relax before my next long-haul flight.
I have been coming to Dubai for 20 years . Most of times staying with family . In last two occasions it’s been a short transit stay over in Dubai. This is my first time in holiday inn express Dubai Airport. From booking to staying in and the staff like ASHRAF made it into an incredibly profound and amazing experience. It was the warmth and courtesy and the generosity of people like Ashraf who turn an average “ short transit stay” in Dubai into a surreal luxury experience. My room was trendy, contemporary and modern with a king size bed. It had all the facilities including fridge, high end toiletries and ambience you would expect to find in a “ luxury “ hotel. ( I have stayed in a few!!!!). So if you are considering a short stay near airport with high end vibes with marvellous staff who speak perfect English then choose Holiday inn express near Dubai Airport. No I am not paid for this 😃😃😃😃😃 . This is a heart felt, genuine , authentic review for the wonderful staff @ this Holiday inn express. Specially THANK YOU ASHRAF @reception .
I was stay in holiday inn its was nice stay food is nice all staffed also very friendly and helpful Kiran hydie manish Joel sumit .room view very good restaurant staff good nice I love my stay there excellent service by all. Everything is good she is doing goood job I will come back soon
