My recent stay at Aloft Dubai Airport was my first extended stay at the property, and I felt compelled to share my experience because I truly believe this hotel deserves far more recognition within the Marriott portfolio.

The location is incredibly convenient, being so close to the airport while still offering easy access to downtown Dubai. However, what made this stay exceptional was not the location or the facilities, it was the people.

I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to Amine, who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. He kindly arranged a larger room with plenty of natural sunlight and a sofa, which made a significant difference during my longer stay. Beyond that, he always took the time to check on me, ask about my experience, and genuinely ensure that everything was perfect. His kindness and professionalism are a true credit to the hotel.

I would also like to recognize the entire breakfast team, who were simply phenomenal. They quickly learned my preferences and every morning I would find my green tea already prepared on my table without even having to ask. It is these small but thoughtful gestures that transform a good stay into a memorable one.

One particular moment stood out. On one occasion, we arrived late for breakfast and restaurant was busy. To our surprise, Manish the F&B in charge personally delivered the breakfast to our room. This was such an unexpected and thoughtful gesture that it rivaled some of the best service experiences I have received at luxury properties, including Ritz hotels. That level of care is something guests never forget.

I have always believed that luxury is not defined by the brand, the building, or the room category. Whether a hotel is affordable or ultra luxurious, it is the people who make the difference. The team at Aloft Dubai Airport embodies this philosophy perfectly.

It was great stay at hotel Aloft Dubai Airport.
I have my booking from 25 to 27 th May 2026, The Room Linen Quality was too good and other services are also excellent.
I want to appreciate Miss Elizabeth on front desk as trainee, She has done her job in a excellent manner to attend guest and providing all necessary services to guest.

I hope as God Grace she will get good growth and opportunity in her career in hospitality.

So we stayed here from February 22-March 8th 2026 and as most know the conflict started Feb 28th 2026 - overall the staff were helpful, friendly and even during some chaotic moments it was a good place to be. Due to the situation they did help us with a discount since we were stranded and had to extend 3 times.

Overall clean, had a pool table plus shockingly a women only salon + a pool + 2 restaurants. One restaurant wasn't open while we were there but the other had their Ramadan buffets at night and it was good.

Highly recommend if you pack light and don't want to spend a lot of money you can walk to and from the airport - its across from terminal one.

On Wednesday 4th March around 1500 1 hour after check in commenced, myself & Hubby arrived to Aloft Dubai Airport with our booked reservation via Hotels.com, ready to relax for a 2 night stay
To our astonishment, after provided ID, reservation number, and physically showing the receptionists my booking, we were informed there is no booking for us.

After much confusion, we were then informed that the booking had been cancelled. A range of excuses were given such as "your card may have declined during travel" (I live in Abu Dhabi, & this was a pay-at-the-property reservation), "the third party site you booked with cancelled you have to communicate with them" (My app and all emails still show confirmed booking). If we listened to them we would have cancelled on the app and rebooked while potentially being charged twice!!

After more than a 2.5 hour wait in the lobby, with not even an offer of a glass of water, once communicating with hotels.com, they confirmed that it is in fact the hotel establishment that cancelled our reservation & provided zero notification, apology, or explanation. To make matters worse, they then fabricated a whole new booking and a price (AED900+) way more than the price for the booking (AED704.06 with all fees & taxes included) which we refused & they quickly then changed the price to what was booked.

Only a brief apology for the long wait was provided, Hubby had to ask, without being offered, what can be compensated for the clear inconvenience & stress caused. Only "an offer of 1 or 2 hour late check out, which one would you prefer?" which as world travellers, we know can be given regardless, not as a compensation for a mistake made on the hotel's side.
Very disappointing for Marriot Bonvoy. No compassion, unprofessional, zero empathy.
apon check out receptionist still proceeded to insist that the fault lays with "expedia.com & payment"
If it wasn't for hotels.com maintaining our booking we would have jumped at the opportunity to book somewhere else.

Friendly service at the reception desk. Expensive airport shuttle so probably cheaper to organise a taxi if travelling in a group (price of 3 taxis just about). The room was beautiful however lighting was awkward to navigate and the bathroom ended up semi flooded after each shower. There was a great range of amenities in the room including tooth brush, comb, etc. Hyper smooth elevators which are incredible for those with motion sickness! Comfortable beds and furniture UNLESS you request an extra bed in the room. The one I was provided was awful where I could feel every spring in the bed and came with a dirty crusty blanket - I ended up sleeping on the couch instead. Breakfast buffet was good and even had a chef cooking up omelet’s for guests which was exciting!

I am rating it three star because of the quality of service. I generally found their staff not very well trained. I had a couple of instances where I requested for a manager call but they never reached out to sort out issues. Also the reception does not pick up the phone quickly. There were times when I had to call multiple times to connect with them.

Otherwise, it is a great location to stay in. Breakfast is absolutely amazing. However when they are finished with orange juice and croissants they don’t refill them and said they are finished. You do not expect this sort of response at Bonvoy brand hotels. Hope this feedback helps the hotel management to bring some improvements.

We had a great stay at this hotel during our Dubai trip. After a long journey from Sri Lanka, the fast and smooth check in was much appreciated.

Special thanks to Chathurika, Indusara, Durga, and Myatt for their excellent service during the buffet, and to the reception team for being warm and welcoming.

The rooms were very clean, housekeeping and room service were excellent, and the gym was well equipped for a quick workout while travelling.

The only small downside was that the breakfast spread was the same each day. More variety would make it even better.

The hotel’s location near Dubai Airport and the free shuttle service were extremely convenient. Overall, a great stay that made our Dubai trip worth it and we would happily recommend this hotel.

Beware of this hotel.
I booked this property for my 2025 year-end family vacation through Expedia. On the eve of my travel to Dubai, I received a welcome email from the hotel — and within 5 minutes, they cancelled my confirmed booking without any explanation.

This was extremely distressing and put my entire trip at risk at the last moment. I immediately tried to contact the hotel, but received no response at all. When I checked again, I noticed that the room price had been increased, which makes the cancellation even more concerning.

This experience caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience for my family. Do not book this hotel if you want peace of mind, especially for important travel plans.
Being part of Marriott, I never expected such unprofessional and irresponsible handling of a confirmed reservation.

I love that you can get the same Marriott comfort and experience anywhere you go. This hotel was clean, fairly priced, and the staff were great. The location near the airport is great for the late night arrivals like we had. The only bad thing about this place is the hotel restaurant is pretty pricey for food that is forgettable. The parking is free, and plentiful in an underground garage. We would highly recommend this for your Dubai stay.

We selected this hotel and were genuinely impressed by the overall experience. The location is extremely convenient our flight ✈️ arrived at Terminal 3, and it took merely five minutes to reach the hotel, making the transfer completely hassle-free.

From the moment of arrival, the front desk staff extended a warm and professional welcome 🤝✨. The lobby and common areas were impeccably maintained, which was particularly important for me as someone with dust allergies.

The room was comfortable, cozy, and well-appointed 😊🛏️. I appreciated the cleanliness and the high standard of maintenance throughout. The facilities exceeded expectations, notably the gym 💪, which was surprisingly spacious, even larger than the one in my apartment.

The view from the hotel was serene and breezy 🌬️🌆, contributing to a relaxing atmosphere during the stay.

Breakfast 🥞 was both delicious and well-balanced in flavour. Although the selection was somewhat limited, the presence of a live chef preparing scrambled eggs 🥚, sunny-side up eggs, or omelettes ensured a satisfying experience.

Additionally, the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service 🚌 between the airport and the property every hour, which is very convenient. However, it would be beneficial for future guests to receive clear instructions in advance regarding the shuttle’s location and procedure to ensure a seamless experience.

Overall, the stay was highly satisfying comfortable, well-managed, and enjoyable ✨. Should I visit Dubai again, this hotel will undoubtedly remain one of my preferred choices ❤️🏨.

We stayed at the Aloft during a layover before heading to the Maldives, and overall, it was a pretty mediocre experience for Dubai standards.

We arrived early, and although the staff accommodated us, we were given a room with two very small queen beds despite being a couple. We used the pool, but the terrace lacked any real ambiance—the outdoor furniture looked worn and uninviting, and there weren’t any noteworthy views to enjoy.

On a positive note, the gym was impressive: clean, modern, and fully equipped.

Unfortunately, the biggest issue came the next morning when we discovered bed bugs right before our early flight. It was a very unpleasant and stressful surprise. The staff said this had never happened before, and they genuinely seemed shocked and apologetic. They immediately changed our room so we could shower and freshen up before leaving. We had to go through all our clothes carefully, but the team was very helpful and supportive throughout the process.

Overall, while the staff handled the situation as best as they could, the hotel itself didn’t live up to expectations for Dubai—especially given the bed bug incident.

Third stay at one of my favorite hotels.
The room is very good and spacious. High ceiling, relaxing colors, two desks, comfortable bed and good sound insulation.
The location is a walkig distance to the airport.
The breakfast is varied with fresh orange juice.
The service is very good. I once dropped cash in the elevator and didnt notice. They checked the cameras and called me to deliver the money.

This time there were a few minor issues though. The inner courtyard was not frequently cleaned. Whenever you go out you find previous guests drinks and cigarettes butts. The refrigerator in my room was not working and the sink did not drain properly. The pool table had no chalk (I purchased one and left it). They can get a chalk holder with a string if guests take the chalk. We had our room with dinner and there was no consistency in the drink policy. My companion had many drinks and didnt pay anything. I only got water and was not offered a soda or coffee like he was.

I would stoll stay again but hope the hotel

This is a great reasonably priced option near the airport. Quick taxi ride from the airport for a late arrival. Shuttle is also an option if you can wait a little. Breakfast had enough options for everyone including some South Indian dishes. Checkin was quick for my late night arrival. Room was large, functional and clean. Public areas were also good. Definitely a good option near the airport.

I booked a 1 night business stay through my employer in the UAE. I checked in yesterday evening around 6:30 pm, in room # 234. Today morning I rushed out and returned to the hotel before 2:30 to complete the checkout. I was shocked when the receptionist informed me that the room already checked out. This happened without having me present at the hotel nor notifying me through a phone call or even SMS. They didn’t even offer me to check the room in case I might have forgot anything inside. They also didn’t inform me that they have found any missing items in the room. As a consequence, I found out later after my return home that I’ve forgot one valuable item of my personal belongings in the room. I can’t imagine how such awful guest service does happen at a 4/5 stars hotel in Dubai. How could they check me out without my presence or without notifying me while they know from my EID that I’m not international guest and I can be easily reached through my UAE mobile number or my email ID.
I’ve spoken to the hotel on phone and told them about this situation. I’m waiting for a resolution asap.

In addition to this situation, the room itself was missing many basic items that made it unready for guests, such as slippers, hair dryer, and some toiletries. Also the iron was damaged and leaking water from each side. I’m deeply disappointed with my stay at this hotel and will never book there again.

Aloft Dubai Airport turned out to be an excellent choice for a short stay before a flight. The hotel had a modern and clean design, with rooms that were well maintained and comfortable, making it easy to settle in straight away.

What stood out most was the team. They handled check-in quickly, helped with luggage in a professional way, and were proactive in making sure everything went smoothly.

The upgrade provided through Marriott loyalty recognition added a welcome touch and showed that the staff took care to value regular guests. Facilities were practical, with a good balance of comfort and convenience for anyone travelling through Dubai. For an airport hotel, it delivered more than expected — reliable, friendly, and efficient in all the right areas.

The two areas of improvement I’d look for; there was an issue with the toilet which felt very preventable (if someone just tired to test the flush mechanism). + I was given a an accessible room without asking for one nor have that communicated to me.

Disappointed and Humiliated Despite Being a Loyal Marriott Guest

As a Marriott Titanium member and Google Local Guide Level 9, I’ve stayed at countless hotels around the world and frequently share detailed reviews and photos of my experiences to help other travelers.

During my recent stay, everything was going smoothly,until my final day, when things took an unexpectedly disturbing turn.

I was casually taking photos of the property (as I always do before leaving any place I enjoyed), when a staff member at the lobby asked if I needed help, who turned out to be front manager Mr Nader. I said "no, thank you" and continued taking photos. Moments later, while driving out of the basement parking, I was suddenly stopped by a running security guard who acted as if I were a criminal, demanding to know who I was, why I was there, and why I took photos.

I explained that I was a guest, gave my room number, and told the security I would return shortly to speak with the duty manager to clarify if I had done something wrong.

Upon return, I met Mr. Nader (Front Office Manager) and the Head of Security, who confirmed that taking photos is actually allowed, and that what the security guard told me was incorrect. They explained it was for “security reasons,” but frankly, the approach was accusatory, humiliating, and unacceptable, especially for a loyal Marriott guest.

I left the hotel feeling offended, judged, and treated like a suspect, not a guest. What should have been a normal check-out turned into an unpleasant memory I won't forget.

Marriott properties are known for hospitality and professionalism, but this hotel severely missed that mark. Sadly, I cannot recommend this location, and I’ll be rethinking future stays.

It is a fantastic choice for travelers. The rooms are clean and comfortable, staff are accommodating which is good for a quick stay. I especially loved the Dialogue Bar—great cocktails and a lively vibe! The staff were friendly and attentive, making it easy to relax. Definitely a top pick for layovers! Highly recommend!
