I had a pleased stay at this hotel. All staff and services were excellent. What stood out the most was the service provided by one of the staff members ,Stella,who was handelling the queue. Even during a busy time, she remained calm,composed and very polite. She managed the situation peacefully and efficiently. Also, the staff on floor and dining were helpful and polite. Came here for two days staycation. Everything was good except the guy at the pool area. First day there was no issues and everything went fine when it was a Nepali. Second day, it was a different person and he came up with some stories and didn't allow my husband to use jacuzzi. Though I was a wearing a nylon dress, he claimed that I was wearing a cotton dress. I have never seen such behavior in any other 4 or 5 star hotels. Other than this, our staycation was really good and we enjoyed it.
Mr Yeypnt was excellent while we stayed at this hotel. He’s usually on reception and very helpful when we checked in and also out. He arranged extra time to checkout as our flight was later that evening. Look out for him, can’t say the same for all staff though.

We had a fantastic stay at Mövenpick Grand Al Bustan and would happily return. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming and incredibly attentive. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and we immediately felt well looked after.

My stay was not up to the level of expectation. The check‑in staff did not seem welcoming, and the health club supervisor was extremely rude and even disrespectful . This is disappointing, especially from a brand like Mövenpick and Accor Hotels. Based on this experience, I would not recommend staying here again.

I enjoyed my three-day stay at this hotel. The room was very comfortable, and the time simply flew by. They offer incredibly generous especially lunch and dinner offer daily—a perk rarely seen in other hotels. The overall service was excellent, and I’d like to give a special mention to the receptionist Ms Neha Abbass She was helpful, understanding, and supportive.

We had an amazing stay at Movenpick Grand Al Bastan. Highly recommended. Monica at the reception and Sandeep from concierge were extremely polite and helpful. Top notch service, great food, amazing rooms. Overall a great experience. Will definitely come back.
The experience at the hotel was wonderful. The rooms are very cozy and the facilities are excellent. But without a doubt, the best thing about the hotel is the service from all the staff, especially Yeyint at reception, who was outstanding. He was always attentive to anything we needed, demonstrating great efficiency and professionalism, as well as the waiters in the restaurant. In short, a 10 out of 10 for this hotel. We will definitely be back.

I have mixed feelings writing this review because, in many respects, this hotel actually deserves full 5 stars. The entire team was incredibly friendly, and both the facilities and amenities and the design of the hotel are top-notch. You can really tell that a lot of heart goes into this place – until you open the room door.
Unfortunately, my room smelled extremely strongly of stale cigarette smoke. It was that biting odor that settles into textiles and carpets and simply cannot be removed by opening a window.
I understand that mistakes happen and that a previous guest likely broke the rules. However, what really disappoints me is the lack of quality control. Housekeeping or the inspection team must have noticed this smell. The fact that the hotel decided to offer this room to a new guest anyway, instead of blocking it for a night for ozone treatment or deep cleaning, is unacceptable for a hotel with such high standards. As a guest, I shouldn't have to complain just to get an odor-neutral room.
Reading through other reviews, I noticed that issues like this seems to occur periodically. While management always responds online with polite, standard apologies, it feels like nothing actually changes in their process. There doesn't seem to be any real gesture of goodwill or compensation offered. An apology is nice, but it would be far better to simply not rent out a room in that condition in the first place.
Summary: A beautiful hotel with wonderful staff that unfortunately gets in its own way regarding room quality consistency. I hope this critique serves as an incentive to sharpen the standards here.

Lovely experience at Makan restaurant’s dinner buffet. Nice selection of food and nice ambiance, calm and relaxing. Mr. Kartik and Mr. Chandon made our dinner comfortable and pleasant. Friendly and helpful. Thank you to Mr. Rajesh for welcoming us. Lovely evening.

My son and I stayed for 1 night on December 1, 2025 through booking.com at Movenpick Grand Al Bustan. Upon arrival the receptionist is not approachable at all. We requested for a good room and joked if it can be upgraded however her responses were like giving me the feeling that we cannot demand as it was already 'an offer' and through booking.com. Not like our stays in other hotels where we were treated differently in a nicer way. The receptionist claimed that the room she gave us is the best and that is 'newly renovated'.
We checked in late as well and asked if we can ask for a late check-out but the receptionist gave a firm no. When we went to the room, we have noted more disappointing experience, no lotion in the bathroom, the sink was very dirty, the bedside light was loose and tilts when touched, the smell of the room and more but how can I complain when 'we booked only an offer through booking.com'. All of these negative experiences plus we had a long day as we were supposed to move in to our new home however it wasn't ready and my son and I were very very exhausted from and what we only need that time was place to relax and sleep for atleast 1 night. Early morning as well I head people talk loudly on the corridor. We filed a complaint and it is very challenging to reach out to the hotel and we reached out to booking.com and they themselves experienced how hard it is to talk to them. Please note that we have been to other 5-star hotels yet we never had this experience before. Even a lower star hotels gave us a better experience than this Movenpick Grand Al Bustan. Another great stay at Mövenpick Grand Al Bustan, a big thanks to the staff at the restaurant, they always greet and go out on an extra smile and makes you feel welcome. A big thank you to Kartik, he was a extremely helpful since we have a little son and made us enjoy our food with all his care. Hope we can stay again here some time in the future, the pool side was also a great find, the lifeguard gave our son an inflatable vest so he could play in the big pool, again just go to show all the staff is really working to make the stay worth it. Last but not least we stayed at the remodeled rooms, I like how they added a brighter palette, it makes the hotel feel jubilant, hope they remodel the rest of the aisles.
Ps, I also noticed they have a tennis court so just in case you are looking for a time to play while spending the time here in Dubai maybe you can pack your rackets with you.

Great little airport hotel — convenient, close enough to the runway that you can feel the turbines in your fillings. Breakfast included, not free — they made sure you understood the distinction — but fine. Eggs, coffee, nothing to write home about, nothing to complain about either.
Then there was the spa. Open until 2 a.m., which really should’ve been my first clue. Nothing legit keeps hours like that unless they’re laundering money, souls, or both. Still, I went in hoping for an actual therapeutic massage — back, arms, neck, simple, clean, above-board.
Instead, I get hustled into a room with the efficiency of a border crossing. No consult, no instructions, just ‘figure it out, buddy.’ The ‘therapist’ — using that term with all the caution of handling a live grenade — starts in, and about twenty minutes later asks if I want the “Special Treatment.” Right. Because nothing says wellness like being propositioned halfway through a mediocre rubdown. Top it off with her breath, which could’ve wilted flowers , and let’s just say: I’m not rushing back to that Spa. Really surprised that a hotel like the Movenpick lets that go on under their roof!

We visited the restaurant for Seafood Night and the food was really good—fresh, flavorful, and worth the visit.
A special mention to Kartik, who assisted us throughout our meal. He was incredibly helpful, very hands-on, and always polite. He checked on us often, made sure we had everything we needed, and explained the dishes with a smile. His excellent service definitely made our experience even better.

We only stayed for one night and the following morning, but we could easily imagine spending much more time here. Despite being a bit far from the metro, getting around by taxi is quick and inexpensive – especially to Deira, which gives you a much more authentic feel of old Dubai compared to the area around Burj Khalifa.
Breakfast was very good; perhaps a slightly larger selection of sweets wouldn’t hurt, but that’s more of a bonus for those with a sweet tooth.
The pool area was excellent – plenty of sunbeds and no issues finding a spot, plus the pool itself was really nice, with a gentle entry on one side and deeper water on the opposite end.
All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful.
Taxis generally couldn’t wait in front of the entrance for long, as security kept shooing them away — and because of this, some drivers were reluctant to enter the driveway at all.

Most Rooms are renovated - I was lucky to get a stylish one, but some are still in the "old Design".
Location ist near to metro Al Garhoud , but Walking complicated because of many roads.

Little bit away from commercial places. You need a car or a taxi as not many options available for shopping and eating at walking distance. Good ambience, well maintained, however the construction is out dated that will be obvious as you step in, however, still being maintained well. Staff is very courteous and helpful.
Excellent Hotel - Treated us very well.||We have stayed here a few times- this time was different ||We had a problem with our booking voucher from Stayforlong - The hotel was very patient in sorting the problem out||The gave us a good rate and helped us a lot - this was not the hotels problem||When we got home Stayforlong refunded the money.||The duty manager and reception staff we in fact very kind and we are grateful ||Will return again ||Mr and Mrs Reid
It was a nice weekend gateway with my family, all the staff are very nice, polite and welcoming, we had a great time spending our weekends, we meet fews of the staff and all of them seems very professional i dont remember their names except pankaj as we have quite interesting conversation about the properties he advise us to spend with, breakfast was good the property it self is very clean and well organized. We would definitely come back here again
Pleasant common areas, but the soundproofing in the (adjoining) rooms made our experience negative. It was almost impossible to sleep next to an unfriendly guest.

Beautiful luxurious hotel, near Dubai International Airport. Staff were helpful and friendly.
The hotel hospitality was excellent. All their staffs were very friendly especially Monika that attended to us during our stay.
We had a excellent stay the rooms were perfect. The hotel is so beautiful. Ms. Monika was so professional in her work. The call were answered on time. Ms Robielyn was very kind to provide me every thing on time.
Very things was very nice starting from the check-in to check out Ms. Monika helped us very well. She acknowledged our all requirements and fulfilled it. The breakfast was very good and she even gave us good discount.

The location is close to the airport. But you can’t walk to metro in the summer. It’s about 20 minutes. Taxi is convenient. Breakfast was good and service is amazing. Anything you need they will help. Nice swimming pool as well.
It's less than 10min drive to/from the airport. Great common facilities like the swimming pool and the gym, they both open at 6am and the staff is absolutely helpful and kind. The breakfast was excellent. We moved to lace of interest with Kareem, you cannot really walk anywhere from there. We arrived early and we're offered an early check in at an extra cost, which was exorbitant - it almost equalled the price of an extra night!
I was very pleased with the housekeeping service during my stay. The room was consistently clean, well-organized, and stocked with fresh towels and toiletries each day. The housekeeping staff was polite, attentive, and respectful of privacy, always ensuring the room was cleaned while I was away.
